Established in February 2008 under the visionary leadership of Mr. Thayyil Basheer, an esteemed educator hailing from Tirur, Kerala, the institute has consistently championed accessible education.
Since its inception, Ozone Education has occupied a prominent position in the delivery of Distance Education, Online Learning, and conventional Regular Courses to students from a diverse spectrum of backgrounds. Ozone Education: A Vision Born in 2008
Founded in 2008 by Thayyil Basheer, a visionary educator from Tirur, Ozone Education emerged with a mission to deliver impactful and accessible learning experiences to students across the region. With a strong academic background—holding both an MSc and an MBA—Basheer has devoted over 14 years to the field of education, shaping the academic journeys of countless students.
Early in his career, Basheer worked as a Marketing Executive at Idea Cellular, Calicut, for one and a half years following his post-graduation. He then transitioned into academia, serving at several esteemed institutions including Wisdom College, Vettichira; Vikas College, Pookayil; Tirur Arts College, Tirur; Al Firdouz College of Islamic Science, Kurunkadu; and Excel College, Alathiyur. He also taught at CPA Arts and Science College, Puthanathani, a prominent self-financing institution.
In addition to his teaching roles, Basheer held key leadership positions. He served as the Chairman of Vikas College and was a Managing Partner at both Tirur Arts College and Excel College, Alathiyur.
It was through this broad and in-depth experience in education that Thayyil Basheer conceived Ozone Education, inspired by a deep passion to innovate and enhance the quality of learning.
Hailing from a respected business family with nearly a century of entrepreneurial tradition, Thayyil Basheer has also made his mark in business. He is an authorized Indian Oil dealer, managing two petrol pumps—Bappu Petroleum in Thrissur and International Petroleum in Tirur—and also operates a travel agency under the name I Connect.
